Differential Tuition for Engineering Graduate Courses
All students, regardless of class standing, will be charged an additional $95.05 per credit hour for credits taken in graduate courses (6000 & above) in the College of Engineering. All courses in the Robotics program are subject to the College of Engineering differential tuition fee.

How Much is the Application Fee (and can I get a waiver)?

The application fee must be paid in order to consider your application complete. The non-refundable graduate application fee is:
$55 for domestic applicants ($0 for PhD Domestic – email Kelly)
$65 for international applicants

Application Fee Waivers
We receive a high volume of requests for fee waivers and unfortunately cannot accommodate all requests. To receive an application fee waiver would require a faculty referral for international PhD applicants. Without a referral, we are UNABLE TO PROVIDE A FEE WAIVER FOR THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT APPLICATION.  

PhD Domestic applicants may receive a fee waiver. Please email our Graduate Coordinator with your top three faculty choices. 

Note that we only admit PhD students whom we will be able to place into a lab, so your application will be reviewed with that in mind. Please review our Robotics faculty and research areas to identify a lab in which you may be interested in seeking a position. This will help us to better connect your application with our faculty. Note your top three choices on the application.

If you are a prospective MS-project student, you may apply and be accepted without a faculty sponsor. However, no fee waiver is available for this option.

Is the GRE required?

GRE scores are currently not required but may be considered if it will strengthen the student’s application and are strongly recommended as another way to demonstrate English proficiency and academic preparation.
